American culture, specifically old diners have fascinated me since the first time I visited the United States. Coming from Europe, these places seem unreal. The atmosphere, the regulars and the staff could simply be walking out of old classic American movies I’ve watched growing up. Those establishments carry histories and memories that deserve to be shared.  So, with my Rolleiflex, I roam from restaurant to restaurant, looking for the shinny side of the “Greasy Spoons”. Amazed by how some of these diners appear to have been put on hold for decades, I document and capture their essence.
